"The Flame" represents one of the four elements (fire). It celebrates the colors and movements that fire make when embers are blowing upward. The flame of our life force should burn bright and encompass many colors. We are all very unique and when that flame is shining brightly, we draw amazing power and energy to ourselves and in turn share that joy with others. Using metallic acrylics, dry brushed, the background colors with red, gold, bronze, and copper were layered in. After that processs, gold, red, black, and a hint of blue were quickly painted on, freehand, like the blowing embers of a fire using a stiff fitch brush for texture.
